You start from Treviso.bike and are immediately welcomed into the natural park of the Sile River. The historical use of the river as a transportation route emerges after a few kilometers with the arrival at the Cimitero dei Burci. A stretch of abandoned boats that today host numerous species of animals and plants. The route passes through the picturesque villages of Casier and Lughignano and will lead you to Casale sul Sile, offering you a view of splendid villas overlooking the river, an old furnace, and ancient mills. When you reach the turning point, we recommend a stop at the port of Casale in the shadow of the bell tower, and then continue on the road and immerse yourself in the Treviso countryside. After a few kilometers, you will again join the cycle path and then return through the old course of the river known as the “Sil morto” following the construction of the hydroelectric power plant. Surrounded by a green and silent landscape, you will find yourself at the gates of Treviso and navigation will take you back to Treviso.bike where we will be waiting for you in our garden for the final refreshment at the end of a beautiful trip.
