The historical use of the river as a transport route emerges after a few kilometers with the arrival at the Cimitero dei Burci. A stretch of abandoned boats that today host a wide variety of animal and plant species. The route passes through marvelous villages overlooking the river such as Casier, Casale sul Sile, Musestre, and Quarto d’Altino, before skirting the Venice Lagoon near Portegrandi. From here, a surprising lagoon landscape, rich in history and nature, will lead you to Caposile. Let yourself be accompanied by the calm waters of the river before arriving at Jesolo Paese and shortly after you will see the famous “fishing scales” along the path. The lighthouse of Lido di Jesolo, the Adriatic Sea, and the Jesolo coast will be the finish line and the best reward for an unforgettable day.
